Once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.

It all began in 2014 when we first met, but our journey truly started in 2016 when we officially became a couple. Fate had a plan for us, bringing us together not just in life but also in our careers. When he started working at the behavioral health hospital with me, I was the one who trained him as a mental health tech. We soon became best friends, spending our days at the gym and hanging out whenever we could. As he worked his way through nursing school, I was there to help him, just as I had done a few years earlier. Now, all these years later, we stand side by side—not just as partners in life but as nurses in behavioral health, doing what we love together.

Our proposal was simple yet perfect—a reflection of us. On 2/14/2024, after a long day at work, I came home to find candles and rose petals leading me to a personal note, written straight from his heart. I turned around and there he was, down on one knee, asking me to spend forever with him. Now, we can’t wait to take the next step and celebrate this beautiful journey with all of you!
