The Cape is Going to Be Busy!

How to Avoid Traffic

The Cape in June is usually very busy and with restrictions being lifted, this summer is no exception. We would suggest you leave very early AM on your way down to avoid heavy traffic. Although most check-ins are not until mid-afternoon, spend the day exploring because you don't want to spend hours in the car.

R.S.V.P. ASAP!

Once you receive your invitation, please R.S.V.P. as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. There are currently COVID guidelines in place but Ocean Edge has high hopes that some restrictions will be lifted in the next month or so now that people are getting vaccinated. Cross your fingers!

How They Met...

Let's Meet Halfway

They met in the most traditional way possible (for 2018) ... online...so romantic. The first date was a Sunday evening in April; both tired from a long weekend of being single, they decided to meet in the North End. Doug lived in Southie and Sarah lived in Charlestown; so technically it was half way...at least according to Sarah. They both went into the date not expecting much, figuring it would be another night that would end up as an overall "good" evening but not showing any long term relationship potential. Because they were both going into it with no expectations, they were both able to be their true selves. Sarah spent most of the time discussing important things, like her French bulldog Freddy, her family and her passion for clothes. Doug spent the time doing what he does best...talk...about basically anything that came to his mind. They had a couple drinks and shared an order of calamari. Douglas, being a true gentleman, paid for the bill. Sarah wasn't ready for the date to end, so she offered to buy Dougie a drink at a small bar down the street. Doug wasn't used to this "take charge" attitude but little did he know - he'd learn it was the norm when you date a Rogers' girl. The night ended and Sarah did what she always did after a first date, call Deb and share the details. It was different this time though, it was a first date she saw a potential "forever" in...and the rest was history.

For all the days along the way
