Christopher and Monique officially met in middle school, when Monique tapped Christopher on the shoulder to ask a question. Whether it was his summer glow from his summer break or his piercing blue eyes, Christopher was officially on Monique’s radar. Their friendship continued to grow through high school, where they spent countless hours together as part of the marching band. By senior year, that friendship turned into something more with their first kiss and the rest, as they say, is history. From college visits, a ski trip to Vermont, to exploring Philadelphia together most weekends while Christopher earned his master’s degree, celebrating birthday’s together they supported one another through life’s adventures and challenges. In 2022, Christopher and Monique reconnected, and fittingly, their first moment back together was right before they boarded a flight to take a vacation to Key West together. It was a reminder that no time or distance could ever dull what they share.
