We went to IOP together and we never really spoke to each other because I was always off in my own world with my headphones in, listening to music. I always glanced at her from across the parking lot because I thought that she was absolutely gorgeous and her energy amazed me, but whenever she looked my way, I would quickly look away because I didn't want her to think I was staring at her. One day, I could tell that she was having a rough day so I asked her for her number and later on, I text her and asked her if she was okay. I was still shy and every time I looked at her I was at a loss for words and instead of trying to give her a hug, i made up a handshake for us! As time went on, we began to talk everyday and I would text her every morning and I would even get up and go to her 6:15am meeting, just because I wanted to see her beautiful smile and give her a hug. We grew closer and began spending more time together and on March 28th, 2018 while we were at the gym working out, I officially asked her to be my girlfriend. I told her that she makes my life complete and that every moment we spend together is the best moment of my life. Almost two years later, on March 13th, I asked my best friend and my one true love to spend the rest of her life with me. I prayed and asked God for the perfect time to ask her and he told me this is the moment I've been praying for, and she said yes! Now the next chapter of our love begins!
