FAQs

The Wedding Website of Chris Berry and Ally Snell
To make things simple, we’ve shared answers to a few common questions below. Please feel free to reach out to either Chris or Ally with any questions; we’re happy to help and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by May 1st, 2026. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to join us. We’ll miss celebrating together, but we truly appreciate your understanding as we need to provide a final guest count to our vendors. Thank you!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. To keep things intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. If a plus one was included, you’ll see their name listed when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to wear an elevated cocktail attire, leaning more formal. The ceremony will be held in a historic church with an outdoor reception to follow, so dress polished yet comfortable for the grass and summer weather. For example, attire would include the following. For women, midi to long dresses or other dressy alternatives (please avoid shades of cream or white). For men, a dress shirt paired with tailored dress pants is preferred; a suit or blazer and tie are welcome. We’d love for everyone to dress up, as we’ll be in formal long dresses and tuxedos!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the Church of the Assumption in St. Paul and will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-30 minutes early to ensure everyone is seated and ready before the ceremony begins!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during our ceremony. The Church of the Assumption requests that only our designated professional photographers capture this special moment. We promise to share the photos with you afterward! Once the ceremony concludes, feel free to take all the photos and videos your heart desires!

Question

Where should we stay for the wedding?

Answer

We’ve reserved a discounted room block at The Saint Paul Hotel, located in downtown St. Paul. The hotel is about 25–30 minutes from our reception venue in Stillwater, making it a convenient option if you’d like to stay closer to the rehearsal and ceremony. For those who prefer, there are also many hotel choices available in both Stillwater (near the reception) and St. Paul (near the ceremony). For full details on the room block, please visit our Travel page.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! To kick off the celebration, we’ll have two specialty ‘his & hers’ cocktails during cocktail hour. At the reception, enjoy a selection of beer, wine, and seltzers. Please celebrate responsibly and plan a safe ride home.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight at the reception?

Answer

Yes, guests may leave vehicles overnight at Camrose Hill. The venue asks that any cars left be moved by 9:00 AM the following morning.
