It was October of 2020. COVID was rampant. The world was shut down. Sneha was in medical school and Mihir was hanging out with Bee, working remotely from his apartment in Rittenhouse. One opportune day, they matched on a dating app. They hit it off on the first date and sparks flew on the second. Then, on February 19, 2021, Mihir asked Sneha to be his girlfriend.

Following Sneha's graduation from medical school in May of 2023, Mihir and Sneha went on the trip of a lifetime to Italy. They started off in Rome, where they toured the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Vatican. Sneha had planned the whole trip meticulously, except for one morning, during which Mihir told Sneha they would be taking a cooking class. It turned out, though, that he had something else cooking. Mihir took Sneha back to the Roman Forum that morning, where he surprised her with some red heart balloons, a violinist, a ring, and a question that changed both of their lives forever. They continued on the rest of their trip, happily engaged, and made wonderful memories in Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and Venice. Some pictures from the trip can be seen in the Gallery tab!
