Matron of Honor
Kaylee and I met in our high school chemistry class. Although the class was a rough one, I am forever grateful for it because it introduced me to one of my closest friends. We have gone through a lot together, from Just Dance game nights to finding our forever partners. Throughout it all, I have always known I could count on Kaylee and we would always have each others backs. Living in the same city again has only strengthened our friendship and allowed us to create traditions that I am very excited to continue. I am thankful for her friendship and support over the past 10 years and am excited for the all adventures to come!
Best Man
Matthew has been my friend for so long, I don't even remember how we met. Even when we were kids, Matt was a goofball with a heart of gold. This handsome son of a gun joined the Air Force after high school, so we couldn't see each other in person for a long time. Still, we always found time to hang out online or talk on the phone. Whenever something big happened, Matt was always the first person I would call. Now that Matt is out of the military, it feels like a piece of me has been restored. Matthew has been by my side through the good times and bad, and I couldn't ask for a more loyal friend.
Maid of Honor
My friendship with Maurkesha is one of my favorite things to come out of my college experience. She is one of the most supportive people I know and is someone I can always count on for words of wisdom during tough times or for a friend to watch The Bachelor with. Maurkesha is indisputably kind and always open to create friendships with anyone she meets. She is protective of her friends and brings positivity wherever she goes. I greatly enjoy our conversations while we cheer on our partners as they play Smash Bros and am so grateful to be able to call her my friend. I am so excited to have her by my side on our big day!
Groomsman
My friendship with Gavin has aged like a fine wine. He is fiercely protective of the people he cares about, and did his best to keep me and Matt out of trouble in our youths. In the end though, he would still end up joining our shenanigans. Even now, he will do anything for his friends, and we love him for it. Gavin can make anyone feel special with his kind words and attentiveness. He is a great guy to laugh at nothing with, and I am so happy he will be with me on our big day.
Bridesmaid
Maddie and I met during our first Spanish class at OSU. Our friendship grew through many late night study sessions at the library and lunch dates at Panera. Even though we don't live close to each other anymore, she will forever be my go to girl to reach out to whenever it's time to decode any clues Taylor Swift drops for her albums or when I need honest insight on a situation. I am grateful for our movie nights in college and so happy to have had her as a concert buddy. After making our friendship official at Bdubs, I know I can always count on her!
Groomsman
I met DJ at the local soup kitchen in our hometown. We were both volunteering there, and the first thing anyone notices about DJ is how open and outgoing he is. DJ and I became quick friends, dancing the night away at the clubs, showing up at his lacrosse games, or us learning how to Salsa dance. Seeing DJ always puts me in a good mood, and he has an enthusiasm for life that is contagious. Sneha and I know that we will always have his support.
Bridesmaid
My friendship with Cara started back in high school and has been full of music adventures, concerts, inside jokes, and car rides screaming the lyrics to My Chemical Romance songs. She is one of the most creative and driven people I know and I am so thankful to be able to go through life with her by my side. She was with me the day John and I met and has been a constant source of support for us both ever since. I am extremely thankful for her faithful friendship over the years and cannot imagine our wedding day without her standing by our side!
Groomsman
At my first choir performance at Ohio State, a young man offered to tie my tie for me. Alex is always looking out for other people. We sang our hearts out in the University Chorus, and later the Ohio State Men's Glee Club, helping eachother learn and grow. I'll always remember our late night dinners at Curl Market after practice. Alex and his angelic voice are one of the many reasons I'm glad I went to OSU, and am so grateful that we met.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I met during our freshman year of high school in a Latin class. Being friends ever since then has filled my life with the most joyous and fun times. From high school sleepovers to girl's night trips, I am beyond grateful for her and all our adventures. She has been with me through so many milestones in my life and I am so thankful for her unwavering friendship over the years. The support she has provided to me and John ever since the day we met has been a true gift and I am so excited to have her stand with us on our wedding day!
Groomsman
Meeting Chris my freshman year at OSU was one of the most important moments of my college career. He is my partner in boxing, Smash Bros, hypotheticals, poetry, and much more. We always seem to know what the other is thinking, and I never laugh as much as I do when I am with him. I hope we always have our weekly dinners together. Chris and I bring out the best in each other, and I couldn't do this without him.
Bridesmaid
Emily and I met during high school choir. Our friendship has since been rooted in our mutual love of music and boybands. She is an extremely loyal friend and the best hype woman around! She will always have your back and support you through anything life throws your way. I will forever remember our lunch dates and Target adventures with great joy. Now that we live in different states, I always look forward to our facetime calls and chats about life. Even though life after college has created a physical distance, I know that our friendship will always remain strong and I am so thankful to have her in my life!
Groomsman
I grew up with two older sisters, so it is very exciting having a younger brother now. Suraj has the same goofiness as his sister. He made me feel very welcome in his family, and I am incredibly appreciative of that. Suraj and I have a common love for video games, swimming, and space. I am excited to see how he continues to grow now that he has started college, and we are so happy he wanted to be a part of our wedding!
Bridesmaid
When I started dating John, I had no idea I would be lucky enough to become close friends with his sister. Jessi is one of the most welcoming people I know and I am so grateful to be able to call her my sister soon! John has always looked to her as a role model and guide and after meeting her for the first time, it was clear why. Her kindness is incredibly genuine and she is so independent and strong. The support she has shown us through our relationship means the world to us! I love that we share a passion for *spooky season* and I am so excited to go through life with her!
Groomsman
Zech is one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. We were roommates throughout Ohio State, going to get donuts and coffee first thing in the morning and failing to study at night. Zech's humor was a bright light when exams rolled around. Even when we weren't living together, we always found time to run to UDF and play Smash Bros. Zech's honesty and love for his friends made me strive to be someone worthy of that friendship.
Bridesmaid
Growing up, I never got to experience life with a sister. However, soon I will be lucky enough to have two! Staci is one of the kindest and funniest people I have ever met! She is always ready to go on sushi runs with Jessi, John, and I and I am really looking forward to all the different adventures we will have! The support, encouragement, and excitement she has shown for this next stage of our lives means so much to us and we are very excited to have her stand with us on our wedding day!
Groomsman
Tommy and I went to the same high school, but we didn't become best friends until we bumped into each other at OSU. We had a lot in common, and decided to room together for three years in undergrad. Tommy was a great roommate, but an even better friend. He is the one everyone goes to for advice, and I owe him a ton. The years Tommy and I lived together were filled with laughs and love, and although we will both be with our significant others now, Tommy will always be my roomie.
