We're tying the knot

Griffin and Sneha’s story began in 2019 in Lewisburg, West Virginia, where they both started their medical school journey. Though they were in the same class, their paths didn’t cross much in the first two years—they were both focused on their studies, always aware of each other but too busy to really connect. It wasn’t until their third year of medical school that things took a turn. Sneha, seeking help with her clinical rotations, asked Griffin to grab coffee. What was supposed to be a brief study session turned into a four-hour conversation that neither of them wanted to end. They quickly discovered how much they had in common, and just like that, something sparked. What followed were countless adventures, many laughs, and unwavering support for each other’s dreams. They both shared a passion for medicine—Sneha with her desire to become an internal medicine physician, and Griffin with his dream of becoming an emergency medicine physician. They even managed to match into residency together in Harrisburg, PA- a perfect fit for both their careers and their hearts. Along the way, they traveled across the country and abroad, but their favorite destinations are always the ones that lead them home—to Cedarburg, Wisconsin, to visit Griffins family, and to Richmond, Virginia, to be with Sneha’s. On September 14th, 2024, Griffin took Sneha back to one of her favorite places, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond. In the heart of this beautiful city, surrounded by art, love, and her friends and family; he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. Of course, she said yes! And now, as they continue to grow together, they’re excited to embark on this new chapter of their journey—with all the love and adventures yet to come.
