Are children invited to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Due to limited venue space and to allow everyone the opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening, we have decided to make the wedding and reception an adult-only event. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Hatteras Village. While there are 6 other villages on Hatteras Island, there is some distance between each so staying within Hatteras Village will be the most convenient to the weekend's events.

When should we book accommodations?

Answer

October is outside of the peak rental season on the Outer Banks, but is still a desirable time to visit. We recommend booking accommodations as early as possible as options may be limited within Hatteras Village.

Are golf carts allowed in Hatteras Village?

Answer

Yes! Golf carts are allowed within the village from dawn to dusk. We recommend Waterboy Essentials for rentals!

Question

Is Uber/Lyft available on Hatteras Island?

Answer

Unfortunately, Uber/Lyft does not provide service on Hatteras Island but there is a local taxi service available - Island Hopper (252) 995-6771.
