Sangeet / Henna

We’re excited to celebrate our sangeet and henna event with you! This is a music and dance event, a celebration where family and friends come together to sing, dance, and celebrate the upcoming marriage. There will also be henna services. For Women: Indian Attire or Western Formal Traditional Indian outfits like lehengas, Anarkali, Indo-western outfits, or sarees (for women) If you don’t have one, a bright, dressy maxi dress or a formal outfit with jewelry works too. For Men: Indian Attire or Dress Shirt paired with Dress Pants or Slacks For men, a colorful dress shirt with dress pants or a Nehru jacket over a button-up shirt works well!

Wedding

We are overjoyed to invite you to join us for our Hindu wedding ceremony, a beautiful celebration filled with love, tradition, and joy! This special day will begin with Lunch, followed by the Baraat, where we’ll celebrate the groom's arrival, and then the wedding ceremony. Wedding Lunch at The Western Reserve Room Time: 12:00pm Baarat at The Lodge Parking Lot Time: 1:30pm Hindu Ceremony at Outside Gazebo Area Time: 2:00pm Women: A saree, lehenga, or salwar kameez is perfect. If you don’t have one, even a long colorful dress or a maxi dress with jewelry can work great. Men: Traditional: A kurta with churidar or pajama pants is ideal. If you can get your hands on a sherwani, even better. Western with a twist: If traditional Indian wear isn’t an option, a dress shirt with slacks and a colorful scarf or pocket square is okay too. Avoid all black (considered inauspicious)
