Flight

Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport

Step 1: Fly into Rome (FCO; Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport) The closest airports to our venue are Florence and Pisa. While convenient, these smaller airports have fewer US international routes than Rome.

Train

Trenitalia

Step 2: Take the Trenitalia train from Rome (Rome Termini) to Florence (Firenze S.M. Novella). Non-stop train takes about 1.5-2hrs. There are trains that leave from the Rome airport (there’s one daily at 1:53pm) but require transfers. If you plan to stay a night or two in Rome, or prefer non-stop routes, we recommend booking a train from Rome Termini to Firenze S.M. Novella (this is what we did!). There are non-stop trains that leave nearly every 30 minutes. You can bus or Uber from the airport to Roma Termini.

Travel Note

Ubers & Car Services

Step 3, Option 1: Call an Uber or hire a car service to drop you off in Montespertoli. UBERS: You will be able to call an Uber from Florence to Montespertoli. They are about $150 for an Uber X. However, Ubers are extremely limited in Montespertoli so you will need to arrange a ride back after the wedding weekend. Your hotel/accommodation can help arrange transportations so we would recommend you can reach out to them, or book one of the car services below.
