Lake Champlain Chocolates Flagship Store

If you haven’t tried their chocolate it’s some of our favorite and this is their factory address and conveniently near one of our favorite bakeries

Great Harvest Bakery + Café

On the same street as one of our favorite chocolate places; this bakery has quick grab and go sandwiches on fresh made bread, coffee, and we adore their cheddar garlic breadsticks.

Mirabelles Bakery

This is our family’s favorite local bakery for fancy desserts & pastries

Mt. Philo State Park

This is a fun family hike, if you have young kids or if you’re not a regular hiker know that there is the option to walk the road to the top of the mountain which is an easier route

Oakledge Park

This is a fun park with several walking paths, a large tree house overlooking the volleyball court and a small kids playground area.

Milton Town Forest Parking

This is a great easy family friendly place for a nature walk

Causeway

This connects to the bike path that is also a walking path with several great fishing access points

Spot on the Dock

This is a good place to go if you want to eat by Lake Champlain

Cold Hollow Cider Mill

This is about an hour drive from our wedding venue, but is worth the drive if you have time. It’s also close to the Ben & Jerry’s factory if you want to visit more than on place to make the drive worth it

Airport Park

This is a nice park with a playground, walking paths, a connecting path to the causeway, and several sports courts/fields

Smugglers Notch

If you’re not from VT, this is a well know place to check out; with lots of hiking trails for carrying skill levels

ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain

This is a perfect little museum for kids, but it’s fun for adults as well. It features animals who live in Lake Champlain
