We recently spent some time in Metamora, Michigan, visiting Sara's grandparents. The highest point on the property is called Proposal Hill, it's the exact spot where Sara's dad asked her mom to marry him in 1990. The two of us ventured out in the mule for a trail ride. We of course had to stop at Proposal Hill, since it's such a special spot. Murphy asked Sara the big question, and she was maybe 80% surprised. When we got back to the house, a whole congregation of our family was there, ready to celebrate with champagne at the ready. Even Murphy's parents traveled all the way from South Georgia, hiding out at a friend's house nearby to keep the surprise. It was an extraordinary day where everything aligned perfectly.

The wedding will be taking place at Sara’s family farm known as Hidden Springs Farm. We have many fond memories here with family and friends and are excited to share it with y'all. The ceremony and reception will be taking place out in the back fields so dress accordingly. We will be providing as many modern amenities as we can to ensure everyone is comfortable.
