Our first funniest memory of each other took place back on Jan. 9, 2012, in our economics class. Being freshman we wanted to make a good impression and start off the new year with a bang, and Simmi did exactly that. Jonathan was sitting in the front row on the left side of the classroom and Simmi sat in the back row trying to be hidden from the professor. She was rocking in her chair back and forth knowing what can occur fearing she doesn't fall. Moments later she loses balance and falls flat on her butt. Red and trying to hide her face from the class, stating she was okay attempting to brush off the embarrassment. From this day, this has been the first of all the fun memories we have shared and continue to share.

On a sunny Saturday evening (June 3rd to be exact), I was cooking dinner for the moms, and Simmi (and when I say moms, we are referring to both of our mothers). While dinner was coming to an end, I surprised Simmi with a photo album containing all of our precious and memorable moments. Simmi started flipping through the pages and recalling each moment as if it were yesterday. On the last page there was an image folded up (an image of the engagement ring) leaving Simmi questioning the meaning of it. As she turns to her right to ask me the meaning, I was down on one knee proposing and asking Simmi if she will spend the rest of her life with me and marry me. Obviously she said YES! That's why we are here today!
