Our love story is a modern fairy tale, complete with swipes, algorithms, and just a little bit of peer pressure. It all started back in January of 2024, when a well-meaning friend (who is now taking full credit for this union) finally convinced Taylor to join Hinge. “What’s the worst that could happen?” they said. Two days later, she found out—the “worst” was meeting a guy with an irresistible smile and a personality to match. Javon had been on Hinge for God knows how long and somehow, the algorithm worked its magic. He says he was immediately hooked by Taylor’s sense of humor, beauty, and — his words—“impeccable” fashion sense. I mean, how could he resist? They matched, messaged, and two days later, met in person. That first date was truly like something out of movie: they laughed, talked about everything under the sun, and by the end of the night, it was clear—they’d found something special. A few months in, life threw them a curveball. Javon got an amazing job offer in Tennessee. Without a second thought, Javon proposed and they packed up their lives in Atlanta to begin a new journey in the country! Together, they're continuing to build a life full of love, laughter, and the best memories! & spoiling their unhinged fur baby, Bentley, brings them (Taylor) the most joy. Now, they’re engaged and ready to say “I do.” It’s wild to think that all of this started because a friend convinced me to “just try it for a week.” Who knew a simple swipe would lead to forever, ever?
