We will be hosting a welcome event the Friday evening before the wedding at the Charleston Harbor Fish House - Bridge Bar. The Fish House is conveniently located on the same grounds as the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, just a short walk from both the Beach Club and the Harborside hotel accommodations. Festivities will begin at 6:30 PM on 12/11/2026. We hope to see you all there for drinks and light bites!
Yes! We have arranged for two shuttles to pick guests up at the resorts included in our room block on the accommodations page. Shuttles will arrive on property at 3:00 PM and will depart and begin the drive to the venue promptly at 3:30 PM. It is about a 30 minute drive from the resort property to the wedding venue so this timing will ensure that all guests arrive at Dunes West by 4:00 PM prior to the ceremony beginning. After the reception, the shuttles will return to the venue at 10 PM to pick guests up and bring them back to the resorts. Please note: there will not be any other shuttle services running besides what is detailed above so please ensure that you plan accordingly and are mindful of timing. Thank you!
Yes - should you choose to drive, there is plenty of parking onsite for guests.
Rideshare services (Uber and Lyft) are very limited in the area surrounding our venue, especially later in the evening. We strongly encourage guests to take advantage of the provided shuttle service if they do not plan on driving.
If your child is invited, their name will be on the RSVP. Otherwise, we hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a date night!
In order to keep our celebration as intimate as possible, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
If you are planning on booking your accommodations at one of the two designated resorts that are included in our wedding weekend room block - please do so by 11/11/26 to receive the preferred rate.
December in Charleston is considered to be mild and comfortable with temperatures typically averaging around the mid to low 60s in the afternoon. Temperatures will drop as it gets later into the evening so plan to dress accordingly!
For our guests who will be flying in for the weekend, Charleston International Airport (CHS) is about 25 minutes from the resort accommodations and 35 minutes from the wedding venue.
