Matthew and I first met each other at a small secluded bar in Schenectady NY where I was going out with a girlfriend and he was taking classes for his job. When my friend and I happen to walk into the bar, I noticed this man wearing cowboy boots and goofy looking southern style clothing who looked like my type so, with some liquid courage, I approached this goofy man and told him he looked lost up here with that attire LOL. As he took my funny mini insult as a joke, we had got to talking and instantly we both said to each other that we felt like we had known each other for years as we had shared similar interests, love for Taco Bell and values. That night I went home with my friend but was able to get this cute guys number. We texted for the next day and he asked me to go out on a date in which we ended up going to Taco Bell and watching a movie at this hotel where he was staying. From that night forward, we felt such an instant connection and matthew had asked me to be his girlfriend after knowing each other for a few days. I said yes, thinking I don’t wanna miss my shot if it is meant to be and little did I know it was the best decision I had ever made. From that day forward, matthew went back to traveling for work and I was stuck here in upstate NY. We did long distance for a month and a half until Christmas when I flew to Texas to see him and meet his family. Over that three weeks, my love for matthew and eachother only grew and we knew we wanted to be each others one and only. During our three weeks, we cross country road tripped to Wyoming and it was the best trip we had ever had. When I flew home to attend school, covid had hit two weeks later and we had discussed either being together during the pandemic or me staying home. We decided to take a risk and I went out on the road with matthew where our love story took us to 35 states, countless memories made, long drives, lots of laughs and Taco Bell pit stops. Our love blossomed over the two years we traveled together and truly made us know we were meant for one another and made to be each other’s person. From that day forward, we discussed getting married but never put any steps forward to it until I flew to see matthew on October 27th, 2021. On October 28th, 2021, my best friend, the love of my life got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him in our favorite state of Colorado, in the Garden of the Gods and I cried like the big baby I am and said yes a million times. From that day on out, Matthew and I have only grown our love for one another and have continued building a beautiful life for us. Until we finally get to become husband and wife on October 28th, 2023, the best day of our lives♥️
