Jamie and Matt met back in 2013 while Matt's good friend Dan was training Jamie at the gym. Matt was always asking Dan about "Suss", but he would constantly remind him that she was hard to track down. Their first photo together is actually a group photo from a Jets Tailgate at Metlife Stadium in 2014.. who would've thought we'd be reading this story today?! Flash forward to a quick pitstop later that year... Jamie was of course buying herself some wine, and Matt happened to be in the same store. They bumped into each other, said hello, and Matt told Jamie he had deleted her phone number after a few failed attempts asking her out. Sorry, Matt you lost your chance! In December 2016, it was Dan's 30th birthday. Jamie was living in Hoboken at the time and going out for a Sunday Funday so she told Dan to come to Hoboken and celebrate. While a trip to Hoboken is extremely rare for Dan and his friends, he decided to go to Mills Tavern. The birthday crew walks into the bar and who is there? Matt! Jamie and Matt reconnected that day and ended up going on a date a few days later. Some homemade wine (Thanks Frank!), pasta and good conversation led them to spending countless nights in each other's apartments, taking a few mini vacations and eventually moving in to a cute apartment in Rutherford, NJ in 2018.

On November 2, 2019, it was a beautiful Saturday so they went up to the Warwick Winery with some friends. Matt was eager to show Jamie the view from a "scenic overlook" where he later decided to get down on one knee during some candid photos. It was a shock to everyone since Matt didn't tell a single person until that morning!! So, here we all are today as they embark on this journey and cannot wait to celebrate this never ending saga with you all!!
