Yes. Our wedding will be a Black Tie Optional / Formal affair. We invite guests to dress in elegant, elevated attire. Floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or formal jumpsuits are all beautiful options. Gentlemen may wear tuxedos, tailored suits, or dress slacks paired with a button-down or collared shirt and dress shoes. The dress code will be strictly enforced for the ceremony, cocktail hour, formal dinner, and reception. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, casual attire, sneakers, and athletic wear. For additional style inspiration and attire guidance, reference photos will be available on the Gallery page. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their absolute best as we celebrate together.
Yes, however, plus ones are by invitation ONLY. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on your invitation and RSVP. Thank you for understanding and respecting our guest list.
Yes, you MUST RSVP! We have to turn numbers into our vendors to ensure all of our guests are accounted for. Unfortunately, without an RSVP you will not be able to attend the cocktail hour or formal reception. Without an RSVP, you are welcome to attend our ceremony and our reception after guests have enjoyed dinner. Please let us know ASAP if you are unable to attend so that we can open up for additional guests.
Kindly respond by September 25, 2026 for online RSVPs. If mailing your RSVP, please ensure it is received by September 30, 2026. Due to final counts required by our venue and vendors, we are unable to accommodate late RSVPs. We appreciate your understanding as we finalize our arrangements.
We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by the requested date so we can finalize arrangements with our vendors. If we do not receive your RSVP by this time, we will assume you are unable to attend and will miss celebrating with you. Late RSVPs will NOT be honored. We truly appreciate your understanding as we plan accordingly.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration with exception to those in the bridal party. We appreciate your understanding as we create an intimate and elegant atmosphere for our special day.
We kindly ask guests to arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for seating. Please also be mindful of the local traffic in Charleston and potential increased travel time to ensure you do not miss any part of the celebration. Please note that the ceremony will begin promptly, and late arrivals will not be permitted entry until an appropriate moment. We appreciate your punctuality as we honor this special moment.
Yes. Free parking is available at the venue.
We kindly ask that our ceremony be an unplugged moment, allowing us and our guests to be fully present. We have a professional photographer capturing every detail, and we promise to share those memories with you. Once we are announced husband and wife, feel free to take as many pictures/videos you want. You are also free to take pictures and video memories during cocktail hour, formal dinner, and reception!
Yes! The drinks are on us—the rest is up to you 😉 We kindly encourage guests to arrange transportation if needed, and to celebrate responsibly. Your safety means the most to us.
Yes. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place on the church campus for a seamless celebration experience. The ceremony will be held inside the church sanctuary, followed immediately by cocktail hour and the reception at the on-campus Family Life & Banquet Center, located just across the main parking lot. The walk between the two locations is less than 2 minutes.
