Mimi and David met in the basement of the University of Minnesota Law School during student organization sign ups. David was recruiting for the Fighting Mondales Hockey Team and spotted the star in Mimi from a mile away. They were teammates and classmates for a year, and despite Mimi spraying perfume in David's hockey bag due to its stinky stench, their friendship developed alongside the (unfortunate) final season of Game of Thrones. Somewhat jokingly, Mimi invited David to her mom's 60th birthday bash, a Sixties-themed costume party. David attended the birthday bash, bright eyed and bell-bottomed, and sparks flew. After 4 years of dating, David asked Mimi to marry him on Valentines Day of 2024, and of course, she said yes. We are excited to invite friends and family to our wedding over Labor Day 2025 at the Twin City Polo Club. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
