Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items to help kickstart our life together. Our registry information can be found under the “Registry” tab. Thank you in advance!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP by the first of May so that we can finalize our plans accordingly. Please refer to our “RSVP” tab to send your response. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

You will be missed! We have a deadline of May first to RSVP due to a final count for all of our vendors. If you cannot make it, we kindly ask for you to please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can plan accordingly!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest's name or "plus one" is listed on your invitation when you RSVP then yes! Otherwise we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family!

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults only event with the exception of children in our wedding party. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those invited on your invitation. We hope that you understand and enjoy the night off as we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for you to feel comfortable and stylish! Our dress code is Garden Formal. For Women: A mid-calf or floor-length dress or jumpsuit with floral patterns, pastels and vibrant colors work beautifully. Comfortable heels or dressy flats are ideal. For Men: A tailored suit or a dressy blazer and trousers are perfect, though a tie is optional. A button-down shirt with or without a tie works well. Dress shoes or polished loafers are a great choice.

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- any solid whites, ivory, and creams. For floral patterns, a white, ivory or cream base with lots of colored florals is acceptable. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel room block at the Hilton Garden inn Charlotte/ Mooresville located at: 159 Gateway Boulevard, Mooresville, NC 28117 This hotel is about 20 minutes away from our venue. Make sure to book your room by May 19th! Please refer to our “travel” tab to book and for more information regarding accommodations.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available. If you do not wish to drive, we suggest taking an Uber or Lyft.

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available on site. Guests should park in the large parking area to the left of the building. Designated paved handicap parking spaces are provided to the side of the building by the side entrance.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors, however, the area is covered/shaded. Our cocktail hour will be outdoors and our reception will be indoors, inside the reception hall.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at 4:30 pm. We recommend that you plan on arriving at 4 pm to give yourself time to find a seat and ensure the ceremony can start on time.

Are phones allowed? Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave all cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our special day and will of course share these photos with you afterwords! After the ceremony, we would love for you to help capture our day and encourage you to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering a full open bar of beer, wine and spirits! Please note that no one under the age of 21 will be served or allowed to consume alcohol on property grounds. Proper ID is required at all times.

What time does the reception end? Will there be an after party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10 pm, but we welcome you to join us to continue our celebration at the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Mooresville!

Can I smoke/vape on the property?

Answer

Our venue reception hall is a smoke-free building. No smoking or vaping are allowed inside the building at any time. Ashtrays are provided outside in several places that will not disturb other guests. Cigarette butts should be discarded in the provided ashtrays only. We ask that you please only smoke or vape in the designated areas!

Answer
