FAQs

The health and safety of our guests is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the COVID regulations and will continue to update this page in the event anything changes prior to our wedding in June. Please check back if you plan on attending, and feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions! As of May 19th, 2021 these are the current guidelines for all weddings held in New York State.
Question

What are the current NYS COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings?

Answer

All indoor gatherings should be limited to 250 people or 75% capacity, whichever is less. We are capped at 150 people at 75% capacity and will be well below this limit. With that being said, we completely understand if you are uncomfortable attending an event at this time. We simply ask that you please RSVP as soon as possible!

Question

Are there any requirements for guests attending a wedding?

Answer

NO! Since we are within the gathering limits, a negative COVID test/vaccination proof and contact tracing are NOT required!

Question

Are guests required to be tested for COVID-19 prior to attending?

Answer

Nope!

Question

Will masks and social distancing be required?

Answer

Guests who are vaccinated will not be required to wear masks. Our venue will NOT be checking proof of vaccination. If you’re not vaccinated we ask that you help keep everyone safe by wearing your mask unless seated. All tables will be spaced at least 6 feet apart and all attendees are expected to social distance when possible.

Question

Will dancing be allowed?

Answer

Yes! Guests should social distance while dancing, and masks are only required for those who are not vaccinated.

Question

Do these same rules apply to the church ceremony?

Answer

A church is held to different guidelines than a venue. Currently our church is allowing 50% capacity for all events including weddings. We will be well below this limit. Masks must be worn by all guests. The Bride/Groom and Maid of Honor/Best Man will not be required to wear masks. All guests will be seated so they are socially distanced.

Question

I have more questions, who can I talk to?

Answer

Feel free to give Jenn a call or text! (631) 356-2433
