Whenever people ask us how we met, we smile and admit it started on a dating app called Bumble. Though it may not be the most gripping "how we met" tale, we are so thankful that a silly dating app brought us together. After chatting on the phone for a few weeks, Tommy drove an hour to the North Shore so we could finally meet, and we had an amazing first date at Melaekahana Beach. We connected immediately, and that’s where our story began. We have made it through two deployments, countless underways, hectic school and work schedules, and far too many lonely days spent apart. Now that Tommy is on shore-duty and is no longer attached to a submarine, we’re ecstatic to spend more time together, planning our wedding and the rest of our lives! :D
