Are Masks Required

Answer

Yes! For the sake of our wedding pictures and video as well as to keep everyone safe, we are asking that each person in attendance wear a CLEAR mask. Clear masks will be provided upon arrival.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

First and foremost.... Please... NO WHITE, IVORY, BEIGE, CREAM or anything in the WHITE color group. White is only reserved for those specifically asked to wear it, and the bride. The dress code for our wedding is GLAM, FAB, and fashion forward. Confused?.... Think RED CARPET AT THE GRAMMYS OR THE MET GALA. Ladies can wear gowns or dressy cocktail dresses, and the Men should be chic and fashion forward. Please leave all club attire at home tonight. We are arriving in fabulous fashions tonight. We will have a coat check service for your convenience. 😊 We are asking that clear masks be worn as well.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

While the wedding party is taking pictures, our hostesses will escort you to our designated pre-cocktail area for hors' d'oeuvres and Champagne.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both Ceremony and Reception will be at the Hotel Midtown. Details are located in the Wedding Schedule Tab for your convenience.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but not excluded! We are streaming our ceremony LIVE so that our family and friends who could not attend can still share our special moment with us. To access the link: Please go to the "Schedule" page on the website, and click the "Go to the Virtual event" button and get ready to feel the love from wherever you are. 😊 There is also a link that you can copy and paste into your web browser. Please Note: You will have to had been formally invited to access this link. This keeps our super special moment personal and private, and reserved for those who are specifically invited.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 5:30PM Sharp!!!! The doors will close at 5:20PM, and no one will be allowed to enter until the ceremony is concluded. We suggest arriving at 5:00PM to ensure punctuality. Virtual Guest: You will be able to access the virtual link as soon as 5:15pm on 12/4/21.

Is FORMAL/ SEMI FORMAL wear mandatory?

Yes!! We like to think of all of our family and friends as STARS..... So you'll be walking the red carpet and having your picture taken...

How are you all handling COVID?

Answer

As safely and thoughtfully as possible. To maintain the trust and transparency of all family and friends attending, we are asking that you be able to provide proof of vaccination or negative test results taken within 72 hours of 12/3/2021. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature over 100 will not be permitted to enter the ceremony and reception spaces.

Can I bring a date?

Due to current COVID-19 protocols that are still currently in place by the hotel, our wedding is strictly by RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and/or leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes! We have reserved a block with the host hotel. Please see our "Travel and Lodging" tab for details and pricing.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes! Please let us know your food allergies and entree choice by 10/1/21.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! W Hotel will be offering parking at the below discounted rates. •$ 26.00/event •$ 38.00/overnight

Are children and additional invited to the festivities?

Answer

Unfortunately with COVID-19 protocols strictly being unforced, we have VERY limited seating at both the ceremony, and the reception. We are asking that you arrange babysitting for your children and only RSVP for the person invited via invitation. Meaning.. NO PLUS +1 ARE PERMITTED! There will be a hostess at the door confirming invites, and doing temperature checks.

Do you mind proposals at the ceremony?

Answer

While we are in love with the concept of Love, we are asking that you reserve your special moment for a day specifically designed for you and your loved one.

What if I cannot make it to the wedding?

Answer

We thought long and hard about this one. We have decided to also provide a virtual attendance option. In the Wedding Schedule tab, you should be able to access the virtual link.
