After a long and grueling journey through the trenches of a dating app known as Tinder, Nick made the daring leap to "Super-Like" Kirsten. Quickly realizing how much the two had in common, they met up for a fun double date that resulted in love at first sight. Less than a week later, they became a couple and the rest is history.
In August of 2023, the couple set off to the sunny setting of Gulf Shores, Alabama for a relaxing family vacation. While Kirsten was oblivious to a ring hidden mere inches from her hotel bed, the family was giddy with excitement. For the last day of the trip, Nick planned an amazing day of getting Kirsten's nails done, going shopping for date night outfits, and having a romantic dinner followed by a beach walk. On that final evening, however, Kirsten was grumpy from a weekend in the sun and desperately wanted to nap. Fortunately, Nick was able to salvage the day with a sandy sunset stroll in their pajamas to continue Kirsten's hunt for the perfect seashell. There, on the beautiful beach of Ft. Morgan, Nick sequestered Kirsten away to a hidden sand dune and popped the question! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Evansville!
