From Ian - With a little help from technology, we met for our first date at Brewery Bhavana in downtown Raleigh. There is a long marble bar top, and there she was at the end when I walked in. Although I got there early, she must have been earlier :) A flutter hit me and I thought "here it goes" as I walked up to kick the night off. We talked for hours and moved to a different spot (Watts & Ward) when the restaurant closed. I can still point out the booth where she first kissed me goodbye and I remember thinking "I have to see this girl again!"

From Jackie - After heading to Prince Edward Island for a few days, Ian suggested that we check out some new beaches before the rain came in the next day. Of course, I checked my weather app and only saw sunny skies in our future, but Ian convinced me that his Android weather app knew better! When we got to the beach, Ian set up a picnic and we watched the sunset in front of the New London Lighthouse. It was there that he popped the question and asked me to explore new beaches with him forever.
