It was Joshua's birthday and Roslyn's housewarming party. Both of our friends dragged us out to the bar when we really didn't want to go. Josh's friend Tim offered to buy Roslyn and another guest a drink. They wanted them to hang at Josh's house and Roslyn didn't know them but they offered to cook rice so she didn't want to turn down food. As Roslyn waited, she never got rice so she left and she didn't care to see them again. Weeks later, she needed a new phone and walked in the mall. Roslyn recognized Josh and was like "Hey! I remember you! You're the guy who never made us rice" ...Turns out, she was kept hostage at the phone store; because why did the sale take her whole day and she still needed to come back? He never asked for her number so she knew it wasn't to ask her on a date...well, turns out she was wrong. He never gave her his number or asked for hers because he wanted her to come back to the store. (It was his plot the entire time) He reached out on social media to hang out and she said "no, you have to ask me on a proper date". He did and she still said no. Eventually, she caved in and enjoyed their time at TGI Fridays and the comedy show they went to on valentine's day. He was such a gentlemen, but she told him, "next time, you need to bring me flowers." Now every month, Josh buys Roslyn flowers just because and she knew he was a keeper! ...She has never turned down a date from him since and she was the first one to say "I love you".
