Taylor and Jacob met on the dating app Tinder. Jacob saw Taylor on the app and knew he had to meet her. He swiped right and and much to his chagrin, there was no match. He knew he may have just beat her to it. That's what he told himself anyway. Days later, Jacob would discover a notification that he had a match. It was Taylor. He couldn't believe it and knew he had to act fast. But not too fast. He had to play it cool. But not too cool. So, without hesitation, and unable to control himself, he immediately sent her a message. "Hey TayTay" he said. "That's what I'm going to call you" he said believing he was being clever and that he was the first person to ever call her that. There was no response. Jacob woke up the next day and eagerly checked his phone for notifications. There were none. Days passed and Jacob began to really rethink his approach. He knew he messed up. He was too eager, he didn't play it cool enough. "TayTay??" he thought. "you can do better than that!". He knew he had to reach back out. He had one last shot. Get this right and he still had a chance. Get this wrong and she would be the TayTay that got away. "Orrrr not." he said. He put his phone down and knew he may have blown it. The next day, as Jacob tried to move on and pull himself out of the depths of despair, a familiar sound. It was Tinder. It was Taylor! Jacob couldn't believe it. It had worked! She Laughed Out Loud. In the following days they would make plans to meet. On November 23rd 2016, Jacob stepped off of the elevator at L.A. Jackson (a swanky place that of course Taylor had picked out) and laid eyes on the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He knew in that moment his life had changed. He was going to marry this woman. He was going to spend the rest of his life with this woman. In sickness and in health, through the good times and the bad.
