We're Getting Married!

Many people think that Kayla and Christian met while she was in undergrad at ECU and while he was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, NC. While this is partially true, they actually met through the dating app Tinder! Little did they know, one swipe would lead to the rest of their lives. In September of 2019, Kayla and Christian went on their first date, which consisted of a fine meal at East Coast Wings and the movie It: Chapter 2. In the following weeks, they would find that they were more similar than they thought, with a mutual love for Harry Potter, books, music, animals, and adventure. They were a match made in heaven. On October 9th of 2019, Christian officially asked Kayla to be his girlfriend. Fast forward 4 wonderful years full of deployments, dates, long distance, and travel, Christian proposed to Kayla on their anniversary in 2023 on a beautiful beach in Hawaii.
