A convalidation ceremony in the Catholic Church is a religious ceremony that validates a civil or non-Catholic marriage, making it recognized as a sacrament by the Church. It's essentially a way for couples who have already been married (outside of the Catholic Church's requirements) to bring their marriage into full communion with the Church.
This time around we respectfully request no children. If this prohibits your ability to attend this celebration, please reach out to us.
Attire for this event is whatever you are most comfortable in! But please keep in mind the ceremony will be at a church.
There is no registry and no expectation for gifts. Your presence is a present to us!
