Getting to the area
The closest major airport to McMinnville is PDX, about a 1 hour drive. While we wish there were more transportation options available, a rental car is going to be your best option for getting around if you are traveling in by plane. Portland traffic can get backed up, especially on weekends in the summer or during peak commute times. So please budget some extra time if needed.

Where to stay
There are many wonderful AirBnB or VRBO rental options for staying in and around the McMinnville area. While we do not have any hotel blocks for the weekend, there is the Best Western or Comfort Inn for those looking for an affordable hotel option. The venue is located about a 10 minute drive from both charming areas of Downtown McMinnville and Downtown Carlton. Downtown McMinnville area provides many shops, restaurants, tasting rooms, historic buildings, and some nightlife. Downtown Carlton provides much of the same at a smaller scale minus the nightlife and is located in a quieter, more rural area. Here’s a link to several Airbnb’s in the area:
