We both agreed that first dates can be tricky to navigate sometimes and agreed that doing something active would give us the opportunity to get to know each other better away from the pressure of other people. We went for a hike and found that we could hold conversation with each other better than anyone else, and the conversation continued through lunch and to this day.

It was a perfectly ordinary day; work, dinner, sleep. Alyssa sitting in the living room waiting for dinner; when Jonathon walked in and bent the knee saying that he needed to have a "Practice Run" before the real deal. Presented with a classic Claddagh ring from Dublin, Ireland, she began to wear it daily with every intention to marry Jonathon.

Upon realization between Jonathon and Alyssa that the time had come for them to begin planning their wedding we brought our friends together for a photoshoot announcement. We met at the Drake Hill Flower Bridge in Simsbury CT, took some beautiful photos, made great memories, and officially began our wedding planning journey. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you and we hope to see you in September 2025!!
