FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Mayer and Daniel Smith
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Friday, April 18th, 6:47PM NDT (Newfoundland Daylight Time)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, Amazon. Search under Sarah Mayer & Daniel Smith in Spencer, MA or click the link under the registry tab.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, they are listed in the section under travel and accommodations. We specifically have a block of rooms at the Wellsworth Hotel.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual- Think a summer sundress or a floral patterned dress, with wedges or dressy sandals, dress pants or khakis paired with a collared shirt. Comfy shoes are key as we are at a summer camp in the woods.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we can't accommodate any extra guests.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

For those guests not staying on site, please arrive between 2PM-2:45PM to give yourself time to walk down to the waterfront where we will be holding our ceremony. For guests staying on site, please do not go past the Smiley Conference Building before 2PM as we will be taking private family photos before the ceremony. Please note, our ceremony will start promptly at 3PM. In order to avoid interruptions, guests that arrive late will not be able to join us for the ceremony and will be directed to Andrews Hall for cocktail hour so please plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, if your kiddos are on the RSVP, they are invited and welcome! You can also lie to them and say we aren't having kids if mommy and daddy need a night to themselves! ;)

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please just let us know in your RSVP to the ceremony/reception if you have an allergy/intolerance and we will do our best to accommodate. We are already planning options for those with allergies to gluten, dairy, and eggs, but if there are additional needs that need consideration, please let us know in your RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot on site at Camp Marshall. We will have plenty of signage up for our guests both staying on site and driving in on the big day!

Question

What happens if I do not RSVP by the deadline (April 18th)?

Answer

Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP by our deadline, Friday April 18th, we will assume you are unable to attend and mark you as “no”. This is because we need to provide our caterer with our final guest headcount in a timely manner & to ensure there is enough time to plan for seating needs of our guests.
