“Together is our favorite place to be!”

Emily was in need of a homecoming date freshman year, through friends we connected and decided to go to the dance together! However after the dance, Emily “may” have ditched Josh at the dance!!! He has yet to let her live it down! We connected years later and the rest is history…..

From Emily’s perspective: Josh had asked to go to the botanical gardens to take family photos. His dad, stepmom, and sister all tagged along to assist with taking photos (or so I thought). As we were walking we found a beautiful pond with a bridge and decided to get photos there. We took pictures of the girls, all of us and then the two of us. While we were getting pictures I turned to him and said “if we get engaged we could take photos here. It’s so beautiful.” He just gave me a smile and said “let’s get one like this” and got down on one knee! Obviously, I said yes.
