Getting to South Lake Tahoe South Lake Tahoe is easiest to access through two airports: Reno–Tahoe International Airport (RNO) ~1 hour 15 minutes to South Lake Tahoe This is the most convenient option with the smoothest drive into town. RNO has regular daily flights from major cities and is quick to navigate. Sacramento International Airport (SMF) ~2 hours to South Lake Tahoe A great alternative if flights are more affordable or you’re coming from California. The drive takes you through beautiful foothills and mountain scenery.

If you’re planning to explore the area, hike, or visit multiple beaches, a rental is recommended. Rideshare Uber and Lyft operate in South Lake Tahoe, though availability can fluctuate during peak weekends or late at night. Wedding Day Transportation We will provide shuttles to and from the wedding at Valhalla Tahoe so you can relax and enjoy the evening.
