Hello All! We've recently made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to January 22, 2022. With so much uncertainty related to Covid-19, we'd rather wait and have a fun, stress-free day with our family and friends. Hi friends! Christine here. Chris and I have been in the same group of friends since high school, but never really got to know each other that well. One epic summer night, myself newly single, we ran into each other at a bar in St. Matthews. We started catching up and Chris began giving me break up advice, which was much appreciated. It was probably our first genuine conversation and he definitely made an impression. I decided to make the first move and ask Chris out for coffee. Chris then upped the game and asked me out for dinner and drinks. It was a date! Chris picked me up for our date and we landed at Silver Dollar. We had a few old fashioned's and talked about our love for Jeopardy and more specifically, Alex Trebek (if you know, you know). Chris went home with my lipstick on his face, so you could say the date went well! From there, I got cold feet, Chris deleted my phone number and we didn't really see each other for about 4 months. Come the next spring, we ran into each other again at yet another bar in St. Matthews. Not going to lie, Chris was looking really handsome!! At that point, he decided to give me another shot (smart move). We had an amazing second-first date and it was over from there. 8 months later, we were moving in together and after another year and a half Chris and I decided to move to Nashville. The same day we decided we were going to make the move, he proposed in our first home together. It was very special! We're now happily settled in Nashville and trying out all of the city's best restaurants and breweries. Next relationship milestone: puppy parenting. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you and want to thank our family and friends for the constant love and support these past 4 years and for the many more years to come! We love you all! Cheers!
