We met our junior year of high school through mutual friends. What began as a simple introduction quickly became something more—sparked by a cute new boy, a beloved dog named Ziggy, and a connection that quietly took root long before we ever named it. Nearly eight years later, our love story has been shaped by choosing each other through every season—through extraordinary trials and tribulations, highs and lows, and more than a few roller-coaster moments. When life grew difficult, we learned that loving each other well meant grounding our relationship in Christ and extending grace, kindness, and patience as we grew—imperfectly but intentionally—side by side. Even through nearly a year of long distance, we stayed deeply connected, beginning and ending each day on FaceTime, sharing laughter, late-night talks, and dates that proved distance could never diminish what God was building. Through it all, we have remained best friends and each other’s greatest supporters—in life, in faith, and in our careers. Together we’ve built a home, raised three dogs, and fallen in love with the joy of being aunt and uncle to our littles. One of us is an extrovert, the other an introvert, yet we balance each other in a way that feels steady, safe, and whole. Always and forever—no matter what—we step into this next chapter trusting God’s timing, honoring His plan, and choosing each other every day.
