Our Story
Joe and Katie met on a dating app called Hinge in March of 2022. After initial messages exchanged, Katie went on a weekend trip to New Orleans and forgot to message Joe back for two weeks. After reaching back out, he took her on their first date at Isaac Newton’s in Newtown on April 28, 2022. Katie declared it the “best first date” in a Snapchat to her friends. Three months of dating later, Joe told Katie she was his girlfriend on July 30, 2022. After two and a half years of dating plus surviving a year of living together, Joe proposed to Katie on November 9, 2024 in one of their favorite parks. Their four year old black lab, Sonoma, is excited her parents are getting married. 🩵
