Fridays at The Ranch are usually quiet — often reserved for events — so the crowd mostly consists of the true regulars who come just to dance. Ethan was one of them. He had been line dancing for four years and knew the floor like the back of his hand. According to Ethan, the moment he saw Sydney, his interest was immediately piqued. Two weeks later, on a Wednesday night, fate nudged things forward.
