Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, and we truly don’t expect anything more! As we start our journey together, we're also embarking on another adventure—converting our beloved van, Bhan. If you would like to contribute, any generosity will go towards turning Bhan into our dream home on wheels. Donations towards Bhan can be made via Paypal (as a personal, not business payment), to paypal.me/chickendibbers (no judgement, please). Thank you for celebrating with us—we can't wait to share the adventures ahead.🚐
Wedding attire or highland dress – kilts encouraged! Be optimistic for sunshine but also prepared for all possibilities. Flip-flops strongly discouraged.
We are hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but we are in Scotland so nothing would surprise us. In the even it is raining the ceremony will take place in the marquee.
Please arrive before this, to be seated for a 1pm start.
We want all our guests to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. With this in mind, we kindly ask that only babies under the age of one accompany you. If arranging childcare proves difficult, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rachel or Kevin—we’d be happy to discuss possible options.
Yes, you can park and leave your car at Ballogie House on the day.
Depending on interest, we may arrange a bus back to Banchory. We recommend staying in or near Banchory rather than Aberdeen for ease of transport after the wedding, but if you do stay in Aberdeen we recommend sharing a taxi with a few others. Please let us know and we can help to put you in touch with others.
That depends...no pressure Emily Smith.
