Our History Emma and Kyle technically grew up together… they just didn’t know it. Despite attending the same elementary school, junior high, and high school, and living only ten minutes apart, the universe waited until later in life to pull off its big reveal. Luckily, their mutual friend Juan finally connected the dots (we’re all eternally grateful, Juan). From their very first date (which was a Dallas Stars Game - props to Kyle), everything felt effortless. The kind of easy, comfortable connection that only happens when two people are truly meant to be. Emma, an OU graduate who thrives in the world of interior design and architecture sales, brings the creativity, quick wit, and warmth. Kyle, a UTA grad and Athletic Trainer, brings the calm, steady confidence and the type of humor that sneaks up on you and makes you laugh when you least expect it. Together, they make the perfect team. Laid back, always up for an adventure, endlessly supportive of each other, and absolutely obsessed with their dog Dezzy (who is convinced this entire wedding is about her). The Proposal Kyle chose the ideal setting for their next chapter: Fredericksburg, Texas, surrounded by vineyards, friends, and the perfect amount of Texas sunshine. With a little coordination and a lot of text messages, he got everyone on board for the surprise. At Signor Vineyards, with wine in hand and their friends pretending not to be nervously watching, Kyle got down on one knee and asked Emma to marry him. She said yes (obviously). The cheering probably scared the grapes. And because one celebration is never enough, the following weekend they were surprised with an engagement party full of family and friends. It was everything they love most: great people, big laughs, and a whole lot of love. Looking Ahead Emma and Kyle can’t wait to celebrate their wedding surrounded by the people who have been part of their story, even during the years when they were unknowingly walking the same school halls. They’re beyond excited to officially start forever together… and Dezzy is thrilled to continue supervising.
