Currency: They only accept the Mexican peso. They also use the $ symbol so it might be confusing but they only accept pesos on the island (no USD $). Credit Cards and Banks: Make sure you have lots of cash here. There is literally one ATM on the island and only a few established shops take credit cards. Your hotel will take credit cards but please be prepared to use cash everywhere else.
Kids are definitely invited to join you in Isla Holbox and also invited to the wedding. We are working with our wedding planner to find babysitters on the island if you don't want to bring your kid to the wedding. More details to come!
Yes! But if you are hoping to have "Parent's Night Out" or send them home early, we are looking into a few babysitting options. We can't guarantee anything yet but we are working on it. Also, your hotel may have some options as well!
The wedding will be at a Villa right next to HM Villas Palapas del Mar, which is why we recommend people staying there (see travel/hotel section). But the whole island is walkable/bike-able so either way you aren't too far! Reach out to Kathryn for the exact name/address of the house so you compare distances from your hotel/airbnb.
