We’re getting married!

It was October 2018, a grocery clerk kept asking the deli clerk about special ordering a sub and bringing her supplies from the LV truck. He then started coming by everyday, just so he could talk to her. He began requesting that I made his sub because I was “the best.” He continued to do this for months before he finally asked me to hang out after work one day. Not long after that we made our relationship official! From work associates to sweethearts, we moved into their first apartment together in May 2019. With his help I transferred out of the Deli and into Grocery. Working in the same department and now moving up through the Publix ranks together!

It felt like a normal day. We were both off work, in what seemed like weeks since we had seen each other (working overnight)! So Alex suggested going to Alpine Groves Park, where we went on our second date. We haven’t been in years so of course I wanted to go! Walking around the park during sunset was so beautiful, we get to the dock and I start snapping pictures! In awe by the nature, I continued to take pictures till Alex insist that we walk down to the end of the dock. We stand their holding each other while enjoying the sunset. He takes a step back and asked me to turn around, he’s down on one knee! He smiles at me and says “well do you wanna Marry Me?” I'm speechless at first then I shout, “Yes! Yes!” He puts the ring on and we kiss, followed by taking a few selfies! Excited to start the next chapter of our lives, the wedding planning begins! Both are now Managers at Publix, moving up through the ranks and motivating each other. Who knew that where shopping/ working is a pleasure, is also where we found love. We are so happy and thankful to celebrate with you all on our special day ❤️
