We’re getting married!

When Mike asked me to marry him, I had been at the point of being on my toes everywhere we went. It is absolutely crazy that he was able to surprise me with his proposal when I had been so diligently stalking him to see if he had come home with a ring. Unbeknownst to me Mike had my sister plan a weekend to come visit us with her boyfriend to go to parks on tap. The weekend we had picked it was supposed to rain, I told them to just come another weekend, almost postponing my own engagement! But they ended up coming to Philly on August 30, and we went to parks on tap at the Fairmount Waterworks and met with Mike’s sister. After enjoying some beer and food and watching a couple get married at the Waterworks we walked around to take in the view at which point after being there for a few hours I finally realized something was up. Which of course it was because then Mike told me we didn’t just come for the beer, we were getting engaged. To be quite honest I browned out here a bit (I believe I slapped his chest and said stop it while laughing lol) My best friend got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him! And of course I said yes! ....and then he bought me Mr Softee it was a good day...
