A Love story...

We met in 1998 while we were both working at Virginia Center Commons mall in Glen Allen. Portsia worked at Dairy Queen and Dwon was a part of the mall staff. Portsia thought he was Hispanic and used to joke around and call him Rico Suave. After days of flirting, Dwon asked for her phone number.

Portsia and Dwon eventually went their separate ways in 2002. While the relationship faded at that time, the friendship continued. Every now and then, they would check on each other and see how life was going. They lost contact for a few years until a Facebook search connected them again. Dwon moved back to Richmond in 2016 and was her date at her cousin's wedding... he caught the garter at the reception... and here we are!
