FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We want our wedding to be as elegant as possible. We ask our male guests to wear a suit and tie. Ladies, an evening length dress, or midi length dress, or nice pantsuit would be appropriate. Please note: The reception is outdoors on the lawn. We recommend wedges, block heels, or flats for comfort on the grass.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children, but to accommodate our venue capacity, the ceremony and reception will be adults-only, with the exception of children in the wedding party. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open for seating at 4:30, and we will begin promptly at 5:00. We recommend arriving no later than 4:45 to allow time for parking and walking to the church.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we've created an online registry linked here on our wedding website.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have included a list of nearby suggested hotels, our favorite activities, restaurants, and landmarks that our out-of-town guests may enjoy during their stay.

Question

Where is the parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony at Sam Jones Methodist Church is located in the lot directly behind the church. Follow the sidewalk around to the front entrance. Parking for the cocktail hour and reception at Rose Lawn Museum is located just around the corner from the museum on Tabernacle Street. Look for the white Pinson Wedding directional signs leading to the parking lot.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’d love to welcome everyone, but we can only accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!
