Iron Mountain Hot Springs
This resort features a naturally heated pool and series of smaller hot spring pools. These hot springs are beautifully located right next to the river. If you'd like to go, we highly suggest making reservations ahead of time (especially on the weekends).

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park
Adventure park on the side of the mountain. They offer a variety of rides, cave tours, and all around beautiful scenery. Different packages available, including just riding the gondola up to the park - great views!
Ranch At Roaring Fork Golf Course
Beautiful par 3 golf course easily located right off of the highway. Reasonably priced course & tee time ahead of time is required.
Gianinetti Park
Nice & easy Par 3 frisbee golf park. They also have a park playground, basketball hoops, and large green yard.
Mushroom Rock Hike
Mushroom Rock is a 2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located right outside of Carbondale. CO. Well earned gorgeous views at the top!
Beaver Lake
Pretty lake in Marble, CO. Great for paddle boarding and fishing (remember that daily license). While in Marble, also check out Slow Groovin' BBQ!
Frying Pan River
Beautiful drive outside of Basalt, CO. Road follows Frying Pan river. Pull over for photos or fishing. Keep following the highway along the river to top out at Ruedi Reservoir.

Drive along the Frying Pan river and find this lovely large body of water. Great views, hiking around the lake, and of course fishing! Approx. 40 minute drive from Basalt.
Rifle Falls State Park
Very easy walk to some stunning water falls. Easy walking trails around the falls available. Parking can be limited.
