Are you officially married?

Answer

Yes, we did not want to wait! We got hitched on our original day (9/19/20) at a small ceremony with our immediate family. We, of course, missed you all but look forward to celebrating soon!

Are you requiring masks at the celebration on 9/11/2021?

Answer

As of now… Yes and no. We are not out of this yet! We are asking that if you are NOT vaccinated, you wear a mask as much as possible throughout the evening. We appreciate you respecting our goal to keep everyone at the wedding healthy and safe! If you are vaccinated (yay!), as of now we do not plan on asking you to wear a mask. Please understand that as more information becomes available this could change. Masks will be available for anyone who needs or would prefer to wear one!

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside (fingers crossed). The cocktail hour will be outside on a covered patio. The reception will be indoors but we may be able open the barn doors for ventilation as the evening progresses.

How many people are attending?

Answer

We are expecting ~80 guests.

What if I am worried about attending or do not feel comfortable?

Answer

Unfortunately, COVID is not gone :( Although you will certainly be missed, if you no longer feel comfortable coming to the wedding, we completely understand. Please do not feel obligated to come, we respect everyone’s decisions regarding their health. The most important thing for us is that all guests have a wonderful time and feel safe! If you no longer plan on coming, we just ask you to please let us know in advance, if possible.

Should I get vaccinated (in general)?

Answer

Sorry, the pharmacist in me cannot help myself… Please consider getting vaccinated. It’s safe and protects you and others that may not be able to get the vaccine or mount a true response from the vaccine due to reasons such as immunocompromise, etc). And… it’s now FDA approved!
