Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! Just be aware that alcohol will be served at the reception and music with vulgar language will be played. So use your own parental judgement.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Step into 1920s–1930s Birmingham. Guests are encouraged (but not required) to embrace the era with vintage-inspired formal attire. Think tweed suits, vests, suspenders, pocket watches, newsboy caps (optional), flapper-inspired dresses, beading, lace, pearls, gloves, and elegant evening wear. Modern formal attire is also welcome.

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event or until they run out.

The ceremony will start at 5 pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by the date listed in the invitation so we can plan accordingly! You can also mail the rsvp card back if you prefer.

Yes, there will be parking available at Estate Les Chenes.

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! We will have a tent if the weather calls for it. Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we encourage you to take photos and share them on social media! Please use our wedding hashtag #SMITHADVENTURES2026 so we can see all your wonderful pictures. There will also be QR Codes located around the celebration so you can upload any photos you take to a shared album. Please do!
