We were friends, but not close. After a few hangouts, while one of us was on a date with someone else or needing to vent over pasta about failed romances, we got to talking about an adventure. Laughs and random conversation lead to a “why the heck not?” and we ended up booking tickets to Vegas. What started out with a Journey concert at the HardRock ended in a night of lost phones, wild dancing and a spark. After that trip, we found ourselves together all the time. We spent all of our free time together, spending time introducing our friends, binge watching Netflix, bonding with each others dogs and camping at the lake. We moved in together and began building a home. Time flies when your having fun and a year and a half later lead to a surprise proposal in the jewelry store where Chris had purchased The Ring. Cameras were rolling, best friends were called in as backup and our wedding adventure began. We have taken our time since then, bought a house and started our planning for our BIG DAY. Our story is just beginning and we can’t wait to share our big moment with everyone we love and cherish. We have chosen to say our Do’s at Chris’s Grandparent’s House, in their yard facing the spot where we really celebrated our first big date. Who knew this camping spot would end up meaning so much to us. We are greatful for all the help and encouragement our friends and family have given us on planning Our Wedding.
